Travel the World in Minecraft

Calling all young architects and world travelers! Are you ready to embark on a global adventure in Minecraft? In this immersive Minecraft class, students will recreate historical structures from around the world. They will learn about each structure's country, culture, and significance while "traveling" through the digital landscape of Minecraft.

Students will build world monuments in Creative mode and prepare presentations to share with their classmates.

In addition to a fun and engaging experience, students will learn to:

  • Research a country's history and architecture to understand its culture.

  • Apply their knowledge by building accurate world monuments in Minecraft.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations on their creations.

  • Develop negotiating and teamwork skills to resolve conflicts in group settings.

  • Give clear instructions and accept constructive feedback from teachers and peers.

  • Use technology effectively to accomplish goals.

Minecraft Coding Class

Welcome to the Basics of Programming in Minecraft! In this class, students will dive into the fundamentals of programming using the engaging environment of Minecraft.

Prerequisites:

  • Basic computer skills: switching between windows, using a mouse.

  • Intermediate Minecraft knowledge: familiarity with basic controls and concepts.

No prior programming experience is required!

Course Content:

  • Introduction to programming concepts from scratch

    • Variables

    • Loops

    • Conditionals

    • Randomness

    • Vectors

    • Advanced loops and variables

Each topic includes special challenges, allowing students to apply their knowledge and create their own programs within Minecraft. Join us to explore the exciting world of programming in a fun and interactive way!
