Keeping Students Safe

Student safety is very important at Playful Digital Learning, and we understand some parents and family members may have concerns with online social interactions and gaming. Providing an environment that is safe for students, and conducive of learning is a core aspect of all our offerings.

How do we Keep Students Safe?

• instructor-lead: all classes are instructor-lead and moderated by our teachers.

• focused/goal-oriented: students are given goals and our instructors partner with them to ensure they have specific tasks. In addition, our instructors work to ensure the children are enjoying their tasks.

• moderated: students are not left alone. Instructors are always present, even when the students have time to socialize and build. Action is taken to address students that are being disruptive, including taking the opportunity to teach healthy ways to interact with others.

• meeting: We use Zoom for voice and video to coordinate activities, address any questions or concerns, and respond to any adversity that arises.
